Policy for the removal of patients

The Rhinns Medical Centre aims to provide the best possible health care for their patients. However there may be circumstances when it would be considered reasonable, or in the best interest of the patient, to remove patients from the list.

Situations which justify removal:

  • Violence: We do not accept any form of violence or threatening behaviour towards any practice staff or other patients on the practice premises.
  • Crime & deception: Acting fraudulently, stealing or falsifying information.
  • Breakdown of relationships: Where a patients’ behaviour falls outside of that which is normally considered reasonable.

A full version of this policy can be obtained from the Practice Manager.
